A Grateful Dad of 5 children.
All of them are grown.
Bass player and vocals since 1963.
Originally from Canada. Lived and worked in Texas between 1978 & 1994.
Moved back to Canada between 1994 & 2005. Ron now lives in Cincinnati, OH.

In the early days Ron played in bands that gigged mainly in Toronto & the province of Ontario. Ron played in a place called “the village” in Yorkville. It was the equivalent to Greenwich Village in New York. Other night clubs along the Young street strip in Toronto were also venues that the bands he was in played at. On some Saturdays they used to go to a place called The Hawks Nest and jam with other musicians. Some of the musicians played for a band called the Hawks which later became The Band. Another artist that would sit in was David Clayton Thomas.

After moving back to Canada in 1994 Ron hooked up with some old high school & college buddies & revitalized a band called The Turn.

Prior to moving back to the USA Ron sang for a 13 peace band called The Power Connection. After a 4 year lay off Ron was privileged to join up with The Grateful Dads.
